Carolyn Sue Luttschwager Parker
May 21, 1935 - March 14, 2025
Born in Logansport, Indiana May 21, 1935.
Preceded in death by parents Clarence and Luella Lloyd, sisters Helen Savini, Shirley Kissinger, Rosemary Capoli, Mildred St. John, late husband Allen Luttschwager, and step-son Calvin Parker.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband Murl Wayne Parker, children Lori Hallford, Julianna Wagenvoord (Richard) and Jeff Luttschwager (Maria). She is also survived by 4 step-children, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Carol was very active and her hobbies included gardening, dancing, reading, hiking, sky diving and traveling. She also served as a volunteer chaplain, and held several certifications for advocacy in both Tucson and Sierra Vista.
She earned her BA from Indiana University and her MBA from University of Arizona.
In her early career, while working in advertising as a chief copywriter, she was awarded a Cleo Award for the Alka Seltzer "plop plop fizz" campaign.
After retiring she opened her dream dress shop in Benson, AZ (MI Ladies Boutique) and worked with Thunder Mountain Community church as an office assistant. She later moved to Tucson with Murl and lived at Atria Manor.
A service will be held in Tucson at Atria and in Sierra Vista Veteran's Cemetery Dates and times to come. In lieu of flowers, Carol requests donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital or the Arizona Cancer Center Research Division in Tucson.
