June 7, 1929 - August 20, 2024
Tommie Waller, (95) passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on August 20, 2024.
Tommie was a very hard worker from an early age picking cotton in York, Alabama where she was born on June 07,1929 to David and Nancy Collins. She had 40+ years of Civil Service work at Fort Huachuca that she was very proud of.
She enjoyed tap dancing with The Rickety Rockettes and being a long time member or the American Legion. She had a great love for living in Sierra Vista since moving here in 1955 by military transfer. She also had a love for riding her motorcycle. Tommie and her husband loved to go dancing, traveling in their RV, and fishing. She even out fished her husband. Together they enjoyed going to Vegas for their anniversary and with Tommie's luck would bring home some winnings. It gave Tommie great joy to have family gatherings and anytime with loved ones.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruby Ivey and Linda Snow, four grandkids and five great grandkids.
She is preceded by her youngest daughter, Donna Smith and her husband of 40 years, Ex Pow and WWII Veteran, Allen Waller (Al).
