Barbara Barnett
White Hall - Barbara L. Barnett, 93, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield. She was born March 24, 1932, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Helen Suter and Elmer Lewis. She married Curtis Eugene Barnett, July 13, 1957. He preceded her in death December 23, 1999.
She is survived by daughters, Gina (Kris) Graham and Lesa Jackson both of White Hall; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Lenczycki, Amanda (Chris) Flatt, Lindsey (Josh) Lawson, Matt (Megan) Graham, Sydney (Gannon) Danenberger, Benjamin Jackson and Danielle (Seth Clark) Jackson; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother, James Decker of North Aurora. She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, and son-in-law, Kelly Jackson.
Barb graduated from Winchester High School. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in White Hall. Charter member of the Roodhouse/White Hall Jr. Women's Club. Barb was bookkeeper for Gene Barnett Plumbing, Heating and Air as well as helping Gene while he was the caretaker at the Roodhouse reservoir for many years. Barb enjoyed volunteering at the North Greene food pantry. She was a member of several Bridge Clubs for over 50 years. Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother.
A memorial service will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Christ United Methodist Church in White Hall with a visitation prior, starting at 11 a.m. Memorials can be left to the North Greene Food Pantry. Daws Family Funeral Home in Winchester is assisting the family.
