Charles Beddingfield Obituary
Virginia - Charles S. Beddingfield, 75, of Virginia, IL, died March 27, 2026, at his home.
He was born May 26, 1950, in Chambersburg, the son of Donald and Kathryn (Hettrick) Beddingfield. He married Rosemary Bettis on June 26, 1967, and she survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Michael (Annie) Beddingfield and Chuck (Stephanie) Beddingfield; five grandchildren, Curtis, Brittani, Courtney, Gabe and Nevaeh; three great grandchildren, Ethan, Thomas and Ophelia; two sisters, Shirley Clayton and Sharon Dobson (companion, Tony); and one half-brother, Kevin (Theresa) Beddingfield.
The family will host a Celebration of Life Gathering from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026, at St. Luke's Hall in Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cass County Home Health or Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice. The Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is assisting the family. Condolences may be sent online at airsman-hires.com.
