Kay Randall
Modesto - Kay Randall, 83, of Modesto, IL died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, at her home.
She was born May 17, 1941, the daughter of Robert K. and Veta Mae (Hoots) Clayton. She married James L. Cox, from which were born two children, Jimmy Cox of Modesto and Leslie R. (Cox) Taylor, and she preceded her in death. She later married Carl "Lou" Randall on Oct. 11, 1989, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 2024. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Travis Bramley and Jamie Cox; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia (William) Bender of Mission, TX.
Kay attended Northwestern schools. She was self-employed and had a housekeeping service for many years. She loved horses and was a long-time member of Indian Creek Saddle Club near Scottville. She was also a member of Youngblood Baptist Church in Nortonville.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with burial at Winchester City Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Youngblood Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online at airsman-hires.com.
