Marilyn Placke
Bluffs - Marilyn Jo Placke, 70, of Bluffs passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, in Springfield. She was born November 16, 1954, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Francis "Rip" & Ferne Blackburn Placke.
Marilyn is survived by her sister, Susan (Byron) Hamman of Meredosia; niece, Emily "Katy" (Jeremy Young) Hamman of Merritt; nephew, Cody Hamman of FL; great nieces, Callie Hamman & Abby Hale and great nephews, Gavin and Hunter Hamman.
Marilyn was a member of the Bluffs Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening – planting flowers, strawberries & fruit trees.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Winchester City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bluffs Baptist Church or the Bluffs Rescue Squad. Daws Family Funeral Home in Bluffs is in charge of the arrangements.

I am so sorry Susan and family. I will forever remember Marilyn in the fun days from working in high school at the Dairy Bell. Such good times and wonderful memories together. There will never be another like her. Love to you and prayers.
