Jacksonville - Reginald "Reggie" Shaw, Jr., 58 of Jacksonville, IL went to be with his loved ones in heaven on September 30, 2025. He was born May 9, 1967 the son of the late Reginald "Red" and Roberta "Bert" Shaw of Jacksonville.
He is survived by his sister Rhonda (Todd) Clayton of Concord, brother-in-law, Kevin White (Lesia Stone) of Roodhouse, nieces and nephews Chris White, Tasha White (Tommy Richards), Amber (Janson) Nesbo, Thomasina (Bryce) Adcock, Jealene, Ty and Macie Clayton, great nieces and nephews Jade Hamilton, Ashten Richards, Harper and Hadley White, Waylon and Swayze Nesbo and Owen Adcock.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Robin White, and great nephew Hudson Adcock.
Reggie had worked at Elm City and Pathway. He loved his St. Louis Cardinals baseball, watching cartoons and music videos. He was always coloring pictures for the people that he loved and cared about. He touched so many people with his infectious personality. He never met a stranger and would talk your leg off if you let him. Everyone that worked with him loved him, it was hard not to, he had a personality like no other. He loved his family so much. He enjoyed spending time with his sister and her family as well as his whole family at family get-togethers. He had a love for his crazy sock collection, and all things hot. From hot gum and hot Cheetos to beef sticks, soda, and Portillos hot dogs with everything on them! He will be deeply missed by so many people.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to services Saturday, October 11, 2025. Reggie was always down to clown, so we encouraged guests to wear their favorite silly socks, and Cardinal shirts! Memorials are suggested to your local Special Olympics.
