Stacy Peter
Stacy Peter, 41, of St. Louis, Missouri, and formerly of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday March 1, 2026, in St. Louis. She was born October 16, 1984, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Stanley and Lisa Browning Peter. Stacy is survived by her parents of Jacksonville, one brother, Brett Peter of Los Angeles, California, her companion, Tony Bellandi of Puyallup, Washington, paternal grandparents Charles and Jane Peter of Jacksonville, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert D., and Marian Browning. Stacy graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2003 as Valedictorian of her class. She attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees. Stacy was a Certified Public Accountant and Partner with Rubin Brown in St. Louis. She was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Construction Financial Management Association. She was an active volunteer for United Way of Greater St. Louis. Stacy enjoyed traveling with her boyfriend and annual trips to Mexico with her family. She loved her pets, especially her puppy Monty, her close group of girlfriends, the St. Louis Cardinals, and Blues, and going to shows at the Fox Theatre.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Williamson Funeral Home. The family will meet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to PAWS. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
