Tonya Mueller Obituary
She was born June 28, 1962, in Chicago, the daughter of Robert and Donna Clark Brackett.
Tonya attended Alsey Grade School and graduated from Winchester High School in 1980. She worked for 20 years at Bound to Stay Bound Books and then the last nine years for Buchheit in Jacksonville recently being promoted to farm manager. She loved her work, her cats, Mardi Gras parties, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, Dale Jr., and NASCAR. She enjoyed her trips to Florida with her grandparents, recently remodeling her house making it a home, but her greatest love was her sons.
Surviving are her two sons, Robert Shireman (Emily Rausch) of Columbia, Mo., and Sam Mueller at home; her loving partner for the last 10 years, Guy Hoots at home; parents, Robert and Donna Brackett of Winchester; brothers, Jay Tennill of Monet, Mo., and Tony Flowers (Kem Wilson) of Bluffs; sisters, Sandy (Jeff) Main of Roodhouse and Diana Brackett of Winchester; maternal grandparents, Tony and Betty Babick of Jacksonville; half sister, Terri (David) Graves of Jacksonville; stepchildren, Amanda Hoots of Winchester and Brett Hoots of Bluff; and grandson, Brycen Matthew Hoots; as well as Guy's parents, Cliff and Lynn Hoots of Bluffs; and a host of friends.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Coonrod Funeral Home in Winchester. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at Winchester City Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Meredosia Bluffs Rescue or the Scott County Dog Rescue. Condolences may be left for the family at www.airsman-hires.com.

Tonya was a year ahead of me in school at Winchester and our sons were in the same class at Triopia, whenever our lives interacted she was always polite and enjoyable to be around. Her passing will leave a void in the lives of all those who knew her.
