Bill Dedek Obituary
Billy Frank Dedek was born February 25, 1936 in Wilbarger County, Texas to Willie and Rosie (Kaluza) Dedek. He graduated from Vernon High School in 1954, and married Mary Ann Myers on December 23, 1961 in Foard County. They moved to Plainview in 1962 but returned to Crowell in 1998. He retired as a Millright Construction, working for Kruse & Sons Construction and M. Hastey Construction in Plainview, Texas; and later raised cattle. Billy spent time in the National Guard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He enjoyed the mountains, spending time at the lake, and motorcycle riding.
Survivors include his son, Billy Dedek of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Tracy Dedek of Plainview, Texas; 2 grandsons, Jackson and Jeremy; and a sister, Frances Burgess of Amarillo, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Dedek, on January 23, 2019.
The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church of Crowell, Crowell Senior Citizens, or the Crowell Cemetery Association.
