Doris Hughes Moore Doris Hughes Moore, 89, of Stephenville, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, in Stephenville. Rosary services will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Phillip McNamara officiating. Visitation will follow from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview Doris was born July 29, 1920, in Plainview, Texas, to the late George Casey and Daisie Elizabeth Gidney Hughes. She married Frank Moore on April 22, 1944, in Plainview. He preceded her in death July 30, 1993. Doris was a member of the Catholic faith and was a homemaker. She lived in Plainview most of her life until she moved to Stephenville in 1994. Survivors include her children, Mary Keller of Harker Heights, John and his wife Gayle Moore of Dallas and Carolyn and her husband Jeff Moore of Stephenville; six grandchildren, Harrison Keller, Mary Emily Pardue, John Clayton Moore, Leslie E. Pusateri, Sam Moore and Olivia Moore; and five great grandchildren, Madeline Pardue, Emma Pardue, Abigale Pardue, William Keller and Elizabeth Keller. Doris also was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jerry Keller, and a sister, Margaret Trevisan. The family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to CCS Hospice.
