Joe Sandlin Obituary
Visitation will be held immediately following the service.
Bruce was born on February 12, 1953 to Joe & Joy (Gibbs) Sandlin in Paducah, Texas. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1971. He married Karen Oler on March 25, 1972 in Tulia, Texas. Bruce was a member of First Presbyterian Church and had served on the Property Committee. He was a licensed HVAC Technician and had worked for Allsup's Convenience Stores and Honeywell. He finished his career with Plainview ISD. He loved his retirement and the time with his family and traveling.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Sandlin and one brother, Greg Sandlin.
Bruce is survived by his wife Karen Oler Sandlin of Plainview; his mother, Joy Sandlin of Plainview; one daughter, Celinda Ledger & husband Peter of Amarillo; one son, Scott Sandlin & fiancée Donna of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren, Sabrina Sandlin, Peter "PJ" Ledger, Jr., Moyra Martindale, Joe Sandlin, Autumn Sandlin and Kaden Ledger and eight great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 2101 Utica, Plainview, TX 79072.
