Roy Wall Obituary

Roy Josephus Wall Roy Josephus Wall died Tuesday, April 7, 2015, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 106. Roy was born Feb. 24, 1909, in Johnson County, Oklahoma, to Joe Cephus and Maggie Wall. Roy is survived by five of his six children, Haskell Wall and Linda of Arlington, Bill Wall and wife Charlotte of Amarillo, Lois Sutton of Plainview, Bobby Wall of Amarillo and Kathy Sears of Plainview; 28 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; 76 great-great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Josie Wall, his dear friend Sally, son Joe Wall and two grandchildren, Jeremy Sears and Marilyn Henderson, one great-granddaughter and three great-great-great-grandchildren. Roy loved fishing, dancing, playing games, going to church, being with his family and last but not least, he loved visiting his favorite restaurant, Hooters. He was very loved by all his family and friends and will be greatly missed. A memorial service celebrating the life of Roy will be held at Mountain Creek Community Church in South Dallas at 2 p.m. Friday, April 17. All are welcome to attend. The family will also have a memorial fish fry at the Wall Family Reunion in Plainview, Texas, at 5 p.m. July 4, 2015. For more information, please contact the family.
