Jeffrey Pochon Obituary
Born on Aug. 21, 1956, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., he was the son of the late Max and Joan (Waghorn) Pochon. On March 3, 1984, Jeff married Susan Davis in Rensselaer. They shared nearly 39 years of marriage before her passing on Feb. 20, 2023.
Jeff was a 1974 graduate of Taylor High School in Kokomo and attended Ivy Tech for one year, studying to become a machine technician.
Jeff worked at ConAgra in Rensselaer since 1999 and had previously been employed with Schumacher's and Chrysler. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a former member of Local 685 UAW in Kokomo.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Jeremy Pochon, Michael Pochon, Dustin Pochon, and Austin Pochon; sister, Susan Kilpatrick; sisters-in-law, Rose Pochon and Robin Pochon; as well as extended family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his brothers, Mark Pochon and Phillip Pochon and his father and mother-in-law.
In keeping with the family's wishes, a graveside service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
