Cheryl Long 70 years old of Myrtle Beach, SC entered eternal rest Wednesday April 4th, 2018 @ 6:53am. Cheryl battled Parkinson's disease since 2002 and just recently started her battle with Breast Cancer. She fought valiantly for many years, never giving into her limitations. Cheryl loved everyone and was loved by all! Cheryl "Mimi" lived her life for her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her father Lester Walker Sr. and her brother Timothy Walker. She was a graduate of Pennsbury High School. Cheryl was a paralegal in Pennsylvania and Myrtle Beach, SC for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Joel Long Sr., two sons Bobby Joel Long Jr. of Myrtle Beach and his wife Susan Long, and Scott Long of Myrtle Beach, and his girlfriend Angie Dodds, her mother LaRue Walker of Fairless Hills, PA, her sibling Chris Walker of Fairless Hills, PA and his wife Donna, Paula Vincent of Levittown, PA and her husband Ed, Tracy Cutshall of Fairless Hills, PA and her husband Ned, Lester Walker Jr. of Yardley, PA and his wife Kim, mother-in-law Alberta Boruta of Loris, SC, her grandchildren Elizabeth Long, of Limerick, PA, Patrick Bryce Long of Limerick, PA, Kassidy Long of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mason Long of Myrtle Beach, SC, her extended Long family and many nieces, nephews, and cousins all of whom she loved and was loved by very much.
Church service will be held at Buck Creek Baptist in Longs, S.C. on Saturday April 7, 2018 @ 1pm with a reception in the church fellowship hall immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease, or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
