Christopher Mabry Obituary
Born November 18, 1975, in Charleston, SC, Chris was the son of Frank Emory Mabry and Frances Dale Price Mabry. In 2008, he moved to Myrtle Beach and later married Kristel N. Wright on December 21, 2013.
Chris was a skilled auto collision painter and detailer who took great pride in his work. His passion extended beyond the professional realm into personal projects, he loved refurbishing classic trucks and cars with friends and family. He also enjoyed collecting and customizing Hot Wheels with his nephews, riding sports bikes, kayaking with his family, and caring for the many animals he adopted over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Kristel N. Mabry; his parents; his sister, Tammy Reindollar (David); niece, Kaitlin Reindollar; nephew, Dawson Reindollar; nephews, Booker Oja, Parker Whaley, and Carter Whaley; and niece, Lily Marnien.
Chris was predeceased by his grandparents, Gilbert and Val Mabry and Francis and Mildred Price; father-in-law, David W. Wright; and nephew, Preston Wright.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will be held in Myrtle Beach at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Esophageal Cancer Action Network at https://ecan.org or the Horry County Humane Society.
Chris's memory will live on through those who knew and loved him.
