Colby Warren Cain age 36, beloved son of Beverly and Raymond Edwards of Surfside Beach, SC, Russell and Penny Cain of Springhill, FL and grandson of Betty L. Cain of Springhill, FL, passed away suddenly at his home Sunday, January 20, 2013.
Born in Bethesda, MD, on March 5, 1976, Colby is also survived by his brother, Michael Allen (Laura) of Owings, MD; his sister, Kim Hogan-Wick (Scott) of Surfside Beach, SC; his brother, Russell Cain of Surfside Beach, SC and sister, Shannon Cain of Washington DC as well as his seven nieces and nephews, Shawn (Katie), Amanda, Mikey, Ryan, Bryanna, Abigail and Patrick and his reason for waking each day, his greatest joy in life, his children, Casey Lynn Cain, Courtney Marie Cain and Corey Austin Cain all of Edgewater, MD. Colby was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Patricia Harmon of Surfside Beach, SC, Bev Ford of Bowie, MD, Stewart Cain of Woodbine, MD and his little brother Corey Christian Cain.
Colby was a lifetime member of the Iron Workers Local 5 in Upper Marlboro, MD. Colby never met a stranger, he had more friends and people who loved him than he could ever have imagined. Anyone who met Colby will always remember him with a little chuckle or a smile. He will be greatly missed.
A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 24, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Garden City, SC. A reception will follow at 221 Lynco Lane Surfside Beach.
