Conway
David Charles Ludlam, 70, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Conway Medical Center. He was born April 3, 1943 in Conway, a son of the late Henry and Sadie Larrimore Ludlam.
David was a member of AA for the last five years where he developed some very special friendships. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Conway. Prior to his retirement, David was employed with Haynes Sign Company and Tyson Sign Company. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time in his garden and with his family. He was a big fan of Duke Basketball and the Atlanta Braves Baseball. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather.
Mr. Ludlam is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Betty Jo Edwards Ludlam; two sons, James Michael Ludlam (Kimberly) of Conway and Charles Van Ludlam (Heather) of Surfside Beach; one daughter, Wanda Gail Reynolds (Tommy) of Wilmington, NC; two brothers, Joe Ludlam (Becky) of Conway and Preston Ludlam (Linda) of Mt. Pleasant; one sister, Katherine Richardson of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Tommy, Zakk (Melissa), Wesley, Amanda (Brent), Robert, Brenna and Caleigh; one great grandchild, Skylar and many other family and friends who will miss him.
Funeral Services will be held 4pm Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Frankie Edwards officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Dave's passing. He was a great asset to Yellow Cab and everyone really loved being around him. I will miss seeing him and will surely miss the discussions of who is better Duke or UNC. Please know that your family is in my prayers.
