I did not know that a fellow brother had passed. I will remember Don as a friend and a hero. Thanks for all the talks and support during my rough times. I will not forget my friend and his service he provided to protect and serve.

It is with a heavy heart that I learned of Don's passing. He was kind enough to visit my nephew in ICU in in the early nineties in full FCPD bike gear -- my nephew has never forgotten that visit. My sincerest sympahty to his family -- one of a kind he was.

As fate would have it I stumbled upon this notice. Donald was the little brother of my good friend Bill - so many years ago. Can it be that long ago? I am most saddened to learn of Donald's passing and wish to express my sincerest sympathy to the family.

I was sorry to hear about Don"s passing. I have known Don since we began working for the Fairfax county police department over thirty years ago and I enjoyed working together with him on numerous events. A group of retirees got together for lunch in Myrtle Beach on tuesday and I thought Don would attend. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to see him before his passing.
