Duane Skovinski Obituary
Loris
Duane T. Skovinski, age 71, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
Mr. Skovinski was born in New London, Connecticut, son of the late Vernon T. and Helen M. Skovinski. He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed Sunday gatherings with his family. Mr. Skovinski was a skilled carpenter and owner of The Cabinet Shop in Loris. He was an avid golfer and longtime fan of the New England Patriots. Mr. Skovinski was predeceased by one son, Jason Skovinski.
He is survived by his wife Deborah A. Skovinski of Loris; five children, Dyana S. Parker, Duane Skovinski II (Lisa) all of Connecticut, Nicole Bergeron (Andrew) of Myrtle Beach, Jessica Mish of Little River, and Krystal Eaddy (Marion, Jr.) of Loris; eleven grandchildren, Joshua Buot (Clarissa), Nik Bath, Ryan Skovinski, Justin Skovinski, Taylor & Caila Turbeville, Harley Mish, Kristian Skovinski, Sicily Eaddy, Maison Eaddy, and Dean Skovinski; one great grandchild, Arya Buot; one brother, Wesley Skovinski (Debbie) of Hawaii; two sisters, Janice Sautter (George) of Conway and Carole Mejias (Angelo) of Connecticut.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
