Gregory Everett Obituary

Gregory "Scott" Everett, 64, of Conway, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at his residence. He was born March 11, 1948 in Greeley, CO., a son of the late Robert C. and Odella Shawley Everett.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Robert S. Everett.
Scott served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Scott was a very outdoors person, who always kept busy. He enjoyed fishing, history and doing stain glass.
Mr. Everett is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Leigh Weibel Everett of the home; three daughters, Sarah Ann Everett and Emily Catherine Everett Judy (John) both of Conway and Abigail Jane Everett of Myrtle Beach; two sisters, Jane Anderson (William) of Columbia and Nancy Fortunato of GA; four grandchildren, Margaux Judy, Vivian Judy, Lorah Skipper and Scott Fin Skipper and many other family and friends who will miss him.
A Memorial Service will be held 3pm Monday, September 24, 2012 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: SC VFW, 210 Glassmaster Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
