Greg was my brother in law when I was married to his brother, Tim. Greg was quite young when I first met him and it was a joy being his “sister”. He was always positive, fun-going, always a smile on his face. I’ll miss him deeply.

I worked with Greg at Frank theaters. He was my manager, and friend. He was always making time to see how everyone was doing and made work so fun. He was always there for any of us that needed anything and the friendliest person I ever met. He and I were friends on Facebook too and he always had something nice to say to our frank family. I enjoyed his friendship even in a distance after we no longer worked together. He was an awesome human. I am thinking of you all in this heartbreaking time.

Greg was a great classmate and always had a joke to make us laugh. He left us too soon.

Ted and Roseanna Shaw had the pleasure of teaching several of the wonderful Rice family members in Junior and Senior High School English. We loved them all but we particularly remember Greg. He was a real character and a wonderful laid back fellow. He was so smart and an outside of the box deep thinker. He always carried some extra non assigned philosophical book with him in his pocket or his coat jacket and would eagerly tell you about the contents and recommend that you should get it and read it too. Enthusiastic about reading and life and the possessor of a great sense of humor. He was the student in class, as my husband described it, that you knew, got it and understood interpretations and nuances in literature. It was sad and shocking to see the news of his passing in the Sunday morning paper. Blessings to the entire Rice family. He will be missed.
