Harry Miller Obituary

Harry G. Miller age 81, formerly of Farmingdale, NY, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Waccamaw Community Hospital. Born on March 13, 1928 he was the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Miller. Mr. Miller was a member and Past Chaplin of the Murrells Inlet Masonic Lodge # 368, a lifetime member of the VFW Post # 10420, American Legion Post # 0178 and Murrells Inlet Elks #2797. He was a decorated Korean War veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by a beloved brother, John Miller.
Survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Helen Miller; sons, Harry K. "Skip" Miller of Murrells Inlet (Esther), Jack Miller of Farmingdale, NY (Patty), daughters, Patricia Miller of Fairfax, VA, Donna Magro of Farmingdale, NY (Michael) and Judith Ferrara of California, MD (Todd); beloved brother, Kenneth Miller and Gloria Licktieg; devoted Poppa to Philip Mazzullo (Shirley), James Lewis (Sheena), Christopher Lewis, Renee Miller, Christina Ferrara, Sean McTague,Heather Magro, Kyle McTague, Rachel Ferrara, Georgia Miller and Carly Magro; devoted great grandpa to Elizabeth Mazzullo and Kalil Semeno.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 19, 2010 with VFW and Masonic Rites at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with Pastor David Lyle officiating.

My Dear Aunt Helen,Skip,Patty,Jack,Donna,Judi,and your families
There is not enough space on here for my lifetime memories of Uncle Harry. he is truly loved and will be missed by my family and anyone who reads this. in a world where everyone has moved away and where we dont even know each others children there is always one place. 136. next time im there we will hve a cold one (or three) and talk of our Uncle Harry. thoughts and prayers are with you all.
