Mr. Harvey Paul Blanton, age 78, died Friday, January 22, 2016 in the Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, SC. Born February 18, 1937 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Waddell Blanton and Elma Shelley Blanton.
He is survived by his wife: Eulene Frances Fowler Blanton of Lexington, SC; one son: Terry Blanton and wife Joyce of Lexington, SC; one brother: Clifford Blanton of Lexington, SC; three sisters: Virginia Netzband, Alice Blanton, Diane Blanton, all of Lexington, SC; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son: Marty Blanton; and one brother: Walter Blanton.
Mr. Blanton was a retired Veteran of the United States Army.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City. Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
