Mrs. Joann Rheuark Head, age 72, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at her home following a short illness. Born on October 20, 1939 in Conway, SC, she was the daughter of Mr. Frances D. Rheuark and Mrs. Lessie Anderson Rheuark. Mrs. Head worked in retail sales, was a homemaker and member of Mt. Hebron Non-Denominational Church.
Survivors include her husband Ray Head of the home; one son, Steve Bostick of Columbia, SC, her brother, Jimmy Rheuark and wife, Jackie of Bowman, SC and her loving cat Lula Bell.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Head was predeceased by a son, Gregory Thomas and her sister Mary Frances Rheuark Holmes.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ross Altman and Reverend Barbara Head officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 4:00 PM prior to services. Committal services will be private. Memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron Non-Denominational Church, c/o Mrs. Linda Doyle at 190 Beauty Avenue, Loris, SC 29569.
