Johnnie Sessions Obituary
Mr. Sessions was born May 18, 1928, in Conway, a son of the late John Dock and Essie Allen Sessions. He was a member of Willow Springs United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement he was a stocker for grocery stores in the Conway area. He was predeceased by one brother, Leo Sessions.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Evelyn H. Sessions of Conway; two sons, Johnny Sessions and his wife, Shirley, of Conway, Dock Sessions and his wife, Brenda Hardee Sessions, of Johnsonville; two daughters, Gloria S. Powell, Patty Martin and her husband, Chris, all of Conway; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Sessions and his wife, Dessie Lee, of Pawleys Island; and one sister-in-law, Melvina Sessions of Conway.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Rev. John Preer officiating. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
