Joseph Gugino Obituary
Little River
Joseph Rocky Gugino, 82, passed away, Monday, November 5, 2012 at home.
He was born in Brant, NY, son of the late Frank and Margaret Carriere Gugino. He was predeceased by siblings Pasquale (Pat) Gugino, Carolyn Gill; step mother Alice and step sister, Doris Bley.
Joe Rocky was an active fruit and vegetable farmer in the Town of Collins for over 50 years. He was an active member of the E.C. Farm Bureau, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gowanda, NY and past president of the Collins Library Board.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Dolores; two daughters, Jo Anne of Phoenix, Cathy Jeanne of Little River; three sons, Ralph (Gay) of Dallas, TX, Frank (Deborah) of Leon, NY, Joseph, Jr. (Terri) of Gowanda, NY; stepbrother, Frank (Susan) of Brant, NY; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday, November 7 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Trinity Catholic School, 1760 Living Stones Lane, Longs, SC 29568.

I will remmber all the times of therapy we shared together.Mr.Gugino would say do I have to do this!!I'd reply that's what Im here to do.But his best time was when we would walk to the shed, our conversation was usually about the times he was farming,growing his crops for the year. He will be missed by me. Sincerely Carmen Diaz
