Juanita Moody Obituary
Pawleys Island, SC
Juanita Morris Moody, 90 of Pawleys Island died Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Ms. Moody had retired from the national Security Agency in 1976 after a distinguished career of more than 30 years of service. Her husband, William Warren Moody, a sister, Nan Morris Jacobson and a brother, Robert Bennett Morris all preceded her in death.
Surviving are brothers, Joseph L. Morris (Syl) of New Bern, NC, Henry L. Morris (Linda) of Cheraw, SC; sisters, Sue Morris Gilbert of Millsboro, DE, Virginia Morris Marsh (Joe) of Cheraw, SC and Adgie Morris James of Wadesboro, NC; sister in law, Ann T. Morris (Joe) of Monroe, NC.
Due to weather and travel condition, the family will determine when to schedule a service to celebrate Ms. Moody's life.

I had the honor of caring for Miss Moody 4 years till the age of 90. She loved her home on the water and all the wildlife on the creek. She loved antiques and thrifting to find them. I learned a lot from her journeys and knowledge. We laughed a lot and joked about her stubbornness but she sure was a loyal and dedicated woman. Your always in my heart Juanita & we will meet again, see you on the other side.....

God Bless! A National Treasure! I took care of Ms. Moody while working for Lincare. She gave her copy of The Captain and The Kings! Love her! Miss our great discussion....

Mrs. Moody was the best. I worked as her Secretary for many years and I felt is was an honor to do so. We had some good times and I have nothing but good memories of her. She called me several times and hoped we could all get together to celebrate these memories. Mrs. Moody made many contributions to NSA which are still in effect today.
She was a great lady.

Ms. Juanita was a gem. She was sassy and witty. I wish I has spent more time with her. This is just another lesson life teaches us. I am thankful for the time I did spend with her, hearing of her years at the NSA, meeting past presidents and her travels with her husband.
Rest in peace sweet lady, I will miss you.

It was such a honor to know and have Juanita in my life. Her believes were shared by me. She loved her country she loved nature she was a real American I will miss her a lot but she will always be in my mind and heart. Love you Juanita Morris Moody
