Kathleen (Kathy) Marie Gable, 50, of Loris, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Conway Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born November 25, 1960, in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of Virginia and the late Robert Burke. She married Paul E. Gable, III on July 12, 1980 in the chapel at the Naval Air Station in South Weymouth, Mass.
She is lovingly remembered by husband, Paul; son, Paul E. Gable, IV (Jennifer), of Shelbyville, Ind.; daughters, Ashley Gable (Guy Almosnino), of Myrtle Beach and Krystyna Gable of Loris; grandson, Brenden Gable, of Shelbyville, Ind.; mother, Virginia Burke of Hernando, Fla.; sister, Debbie Williams of Madison, N.J.; and brother, Robert Burke, of Weymouth, Mass.
"You were the light of our life, the soul of our family and our best friend. Now you will be our Guardian Angel forever."
Visitation will be Friday, August 12, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Funeral Home. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 13 at the Myrtle Beach Funeral Home chapel.
