L. Greene Obituary

GARDEN CITY BEACH | Louie Lepha Greene, 88, of Jensen's Village, where she lived for 29 years, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

She was born March 10, 1917 in Springfield, Mass., the daughter of the late Lyman and Louie Oakes. She had been a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Survivors include two sons, Donald R. Greene and his wife, Bonnie, of Lebanon, Tenn.; and Warren S. Greene and his wife, Donna, of Warsaw, Ind; a daughter, Robin E. Harry and her husband, James, of Raleigh, N. C.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also, her many friends of Jensen's Village.

A memorial service will be held at a future date. Arrangements made by the Cremation Society of the Carolinas, Raleigh, NC.
