Matthew Sayers Obituary
Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Matthew Baldwin Sayers 30, passed away from an accident on Friday, September 19, 2014.
Matthew was born August 24, 1984, in Winston-Salem, N.C. the son of Joyce Baldwin Sayers and the late Glennwood L. Sayers.
Matthew was General Manager of Addy's Harbor Dodge. Prior to moving to Myrtle Beach, from Winston-Salem, he was associated with Crown Automotive Group in Greensboro, N.C. and a member of the Catalyst Church. Matthew was a graduate of High Point University in High Point, N. C. He loved music and was a former member and alumni of Crossman Drum and Bugle Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Alicia Sayers; his mother, Joyce Ann Sayers, his daughter, Cailin Mae Sayers; his twin sons, Maximus and Skylar Sayers all of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, LeRoy Sayers of Newark, Delaware.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept 23, 2014, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, 910-67th Ave. N. in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with Brian DeFord officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made Matthew Sayers Education Fund, PO Box 2564, Myrtle Beach, S.C. 29578 and www.gofundme.com for Alicia Sayers.
