Mike and I grew up in the same neighborhood in Charleston, West Virginia. My family loved the Marino family. My parents had the community grocery store and the Marino kids made frequent visits to the store :) My parents always commented on how kind and mannerly the Marino kids were. Mike, Thank You for the good childhood memories you gave to me!

I met Mike in 1964, when he began working at Henry's In St. Albans, WV (one of his dad's men's clothing stores). We became buds, and stayed in touch whenever I got home to visit my parents. As our lives and families progressed, we lost touch, but memories of Mike have always brought a smile.
Rest easy, Mike. You made a difference.

Mike was a great guy and always available to resolve problems in the Legends. He was very helpful to me and my family when my husband was sick and died. He worked hard to resolve multiple issues with a homeowner that was causing many problems and safety concerns in the neighborhood. I know he spent many hours dealing with the situation to make things 'right' and get it resolved. Our neighborhood is a much safer place due to his tenacity. He has found his place in heaven. God rest his soul. Deepest sympathy and my condolences to his family.

Oh my sweet Uncle Mike, you have always been so good to me and made me laugh. Thank you so much for my encouraging phone calls. Thank you for always giving Tom and I the best vacations, and always making sure we had funny memories to take home with us. Love you

Uncle Mike, my heart is broken. You always made us all laugh, you were the glue that kept this family in communication, and I will miss you every single day. All my love, Melissa Marino-Sharp.
