Michael Spillane Obituary

MYRTLE BEACH | Michael Spillane, 51, died Thursday, October 26, 2006 at his residence.

Born June 7, 1955 in Newburgh, N.Y., he was a son of the late Frank Morrison ''Mickey'' Spillane and Mary Ann Pearce Taylor.

Surviving are a daughter, Marleigh Martinez of Hillsboro, Texas; two sisters, Kathy Spivey of Myrtle Beach and Caroline Hill of Galax, Va.; one brother, Ward Spillane of Myrtle Beach; four grandchildren; two nephews, Joel Spillane of Socastee and Stephen Spivey of North Myrtle Beach; one niece, Stephanie Spivey of Conway; and a number of grandnieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Bowery.

WAS SAD TO READ OF MICHAEL'S DEATH. IT REALLY SHOCKED ME SO SOON AFTER HIS FATHERS DEATH.RAMONA AND I SEND OUR SYMPATHIES TO THE FAMILY. WE HAD NOT SEEN HIM FOR MANY YEARS BUT REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES IN THE LATE 50'S WHEN HE WAS A SMALL CHILD.
