Mrs. Rosalia M. Lombardo, 101, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at NHC Garden City.
Born April 5, 1911 in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Lombardo was the daughter of the late Louis and Rosina Fiore. She is predeceased by her husband, Aniello "Jimmy" Lombardo; brother, Giachino Fiore and her sister, Virginia Urban.
Mrs. Lombardo lived in South Amboy, NJ before moving to South Carolina. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the Women's Club at Precious Blood Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son, John J. (Dolores) Lombardo, Pawleys Island; brother, Joseph Fiore, NJ; grandchildren, John J. (Kristen) Lombardo, NJ; Laura Lombardo, PA; great grandchildren, Grace Lombardo, NJ; Ava Lombardo, NJ; nephew, Joseph Fiore, NJ; niece, Gina Dos Santos, NJ.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 21, 2013, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Myrtle Beach with Rev. James LeBlanc celebrant.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Federation for Aging Research, 55 W. 39th Street, 16thFloor, NY, NY 10018, www.afar.org/home/donate.
