Conway
Stephen Tantillo Sr., of Conway, died peacefully on February 21, 2013.
He leaves his wife of 68 years, Margaret, as well as, his son Stephen and daughter-in-law Marie Tantillo of Clarksburg, NJ, daughter Diana Tantillo of Monmouth Junction, NJ, and daughter Lisa and son-in-law Gary Matthews of East Brunswick, NJ. In addition, Stephen had four grandchildren Jean Marie Kobulnick (husband Mark) of Bellmore, NY, David Moran of Denver, CO, Jacqueline Schechtel, and Jared Schechtel of East Brunswick, as well as two great grandchildren, Matthew and Alexandra Kobulnick. Stephen has one surviving sibling, Sandy Deanne who resides in Conway, SC. In heaven, he joins his much missed daughter Linda Moran and son-in-law John (Jack) Moran.
On Wednesday, February 27, 2013 a graveside service will be held at 10:00 am at Hillcrest Cemetery, 1000 S Carolina 544, Conway, SC 29526. All are welcome.

Missing my Uncle and my Aunts, and my Parents. Good memories of the past when they all were with us.

My great uncle who had such a big impact on a little boys life. I would wait at the corner when Uncle and Aunt Marge and the kids were coning for a visit. I hung on his every word, as I still tell his jokes and stories to my friends. "My little chick" was the joke that made his sister laugh so hard. If I could be half the man he was. I remember his back yard and Taffy in Merrick. I have always missed him so! Be well uncle, I love you.

I so loved my Uncle Steve and my Mom loved her baby brother. I just found out he passed away as my Xmas Card I sent Aunt Marge and Uncle was returned today. May the family's fond memories of Uncle sustain them through this time. Carole passed away April 12, 2013. Both Uncle Steve and her will be missed.

My daughter just wrote a lovely essay for school about how my father and mother met. It made me realize how much I miss him on a daily basis. He was quite the character and an incredible storyteller. We all miss his stories and wish we could have had more time with him. Thank you Karen and Gary for your condolences. I too have wonderful memories of spending time with my Aunt Eleanor and Uncle Tony.
