My heartfelt sorrow for your loss.
I came to know Tom as a rookie fireman some 30 years ago. Respected by ALL who knew him. As I have moved up the ranks, many more owe a debt to Tom Rollar for what he taught me about leadership.
I met some of his family today, and I hope it was of some comfort to you as we shared stories of his life. A man so dedicated to service -- military, civil, and volunteer -- all his life. The lives he touched must be countless.
Rest in well deserved peace, my friend.
