John Evan Buchanan

Mr. John Evan Buchanan, age 70, of Madison, Indiana passed away on Thursday July 7, 2022 of cardiac arrest in the emergency room at Norton King's Daughters' Hospital.
John Buchanan will be deeply mourned by his wife, Karen Kuehn Buchanan; daughter Mel (Lance Dickman) Buchanan of New Orleans, Louisiana; son Rex (Ashley) Buchanan of Denver, Colorado; and grandchildren Axel John Dickman and Leila George Dickman. He is survived by a brother, four sisters-in-law, and one brother-in law, and nieces and nephews, in addition to nine great nieces and nephews, several cousins, and a community of friends. John was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Leila Cleek Buchanan; five brothers, and his parents-in-law Harold and Janet Kuehn.
His life was celebrated on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
A final salute was conducted at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre with military honors to follow at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana and will be provided by the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion.
