Alexander Ross Marsh, 41, of Ottawa, IL, passed away unexpectedly during his third bout of covid on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Alex was born on September 2, 1984, in Ottawa, IL, to Alan and Janet (Zimmerman) Marsh.
He was employed as an attorney at Marsh, Martin, Vickers, Deobler, and Temple Law Offices in Ottawa. Alex was passionate about many things including music, guitars, racing, bicycles, motorcycles, and acting.
He is survived by his mother, Janet, and his sister, Natalie Marsh.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Bartky Marsh.

I rode many miles with Alex in the Starved Rock Cycling Association. I also had a few cases with him on the other side. He was a great guy, and a true gentleman, just like his dad.
