Died: December 7, 2024 in New Harmony, IN
Bernidean Thompson, 73, of Jasper, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Premier Healthcare in New Harmony, IN.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 15 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Bernidean was born March 1, 1951, in Seneca, to Bernard and Naomi Ruth (Wheeler) Thompson.
Bernidean was employed at MasterBrand Cabinet until her retirement. She loved caring for children and her puppies. She taught Sunday School, enjoyed gardening, dancing, riding on her Harley Davidson, and just being in the sunshine listening to the Beatles. She was known for her famously delicious lasagna and always went out of her way to turn her home into a winter wonderland at Christmas for all of her family to enjoy. Most of all, Bernidean was known for her kind and caring heart and the great sacrifices and love that she had for her family. She was an Angel on earth as she now is in Heaven.
Survivors include her daughters, Terri Lynn Cox of Jacksonville, FL, Toni Lee (Mark Hochgesang) Cox of Bonita Springs, FL, and Tracey Louise (Rocky) Gray of Crawford County, IN; twelve grandchildren, Nicole, Kenneth, Laney, Tristin, Samantha, Michael, Josie, Darian, Demiah, Chandin, Jace, and Liam; 15 greatgrandchildren; her siblings, William, (Linda) Thompson of Minooka, Larry Thompson of Seneca, Sandy (Pete) Ramirez of Seneca, Tammy (Wally) McClain of Seneca, and David (Shella) Thompson of Ottawa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons in infancy, Jeffrey Wayne Cox and Bradley Paul Cox; one sister, Brenda Thompson Elliott, and one brother, Donald Thompson.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
