Brenda Schupp
Brenda Lee Schupp, age 74, passed away on May 10, 2025 at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL. Brenda was born on June 23, 1950, in Sandwich, Illinois, where she would spend her life surrounded by family, friends, and the beauty of nature.
Brenda was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard "Rich" Schupp, who was not just her partner in life, but her best friend. Together, they built a beautiful family, which includes their sons, Jeff Schupp and Jason (Jeni) Schupp, and two adoring grandchildren, Lexi (fiancé Andrew Limacher) Schupp and Madi Schupp. She is also survived by her brother Mark (Becky) Buttrum, and her cousin Peggy Antich. Peggy provided her with so much love, support and countless laughs that Brenda looked forward to weekly. Brenda's legacy will live on through the love she nurtured in her family and the countless memories they shared.
Brenda was born to Billy B. Buttrum and Mae Dean Boner Buttrum, who preceded her in death, along with her brother, Tom, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Brenda's life was full of so much love and support that she provided to her whole family. Her passions and hobbies were her beautiful flower gardens and her cherished home where she truly had a special gift for decorating.
Brenda always cherished her shopping sprees with her daughter in law (Jeni) and her two granddaughters (Lexi and Madi) that she absolutely adored. They shared so many moments full of love and laughter over their special lunch dates.
Brenda also cherished her home away from home in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. She loved sitting by the lake over a campfire listening to the loons and hearing her family's "famous" fishing stories.
Brenda also had a love for being a dog Momma to her 3 fur babies, Bandit, Kolby and Tucker.
The Schupp family would like to thank friends, family, neighbors and a special thanks to the first responders and the Britt Family.
