Born: April 14, 1951 in Anasco, Puerto Rico
Died: April 22, 2022 in Peoria, IL
Carlos W. Portugues 71, of Streator passed away Friday evening (April 22, 2022) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
A visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be on Saturday at 11:30 in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Carlos was born on April 14, 1951, in Anasco, Puerto Rico to Senore and Josefina (Corea Vega) Portugues. He married Linda Mollo on March 26, 1978. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Teresa Portugues of Palos, IL, and Luisa Portugues of Streator, grandchildren, Alicia Dixon Zepeda, Jody Dixon Jr., Dixie Herrera, Luisa Herrera, Carlos Portugues, Luciana Portugues and Mateo Portugues and brother, Gilberto Portugues of Chicago.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Pedro Portugues.
Carlos attended grade school and graduated from high school in Anasco, Puerto Rico in 1969.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Carlos Portugues.
