Died: December 23, 2021 in Ottawa, IL
Carol A. Jacobs, 78 of Streator passed away Thursday (December 23, 2021) evening at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Long Point Cemetery.
Carol was born on January 26, 1943 in Streator to Donald A. and Kathleen (Wonders) Wulzen. She married James Jacobs on April 6, 1963. He survives.
Also surviving are children Jay Jacobs, Scott Jacobs, and Michael (Tanya) Jacobs all of Streator, and Tina (Darrell) Barber of Portland, OR, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Butch (Judi) Jacobs of Ancona, grandchildren, Taylor, James, Gabriella, Liliana, Camdyn, Kaeden, Alexa, Aubrey, and Ava and a great-granddaughter Hattie.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Donald & Kenneth Wulzen.
Carol graduated from Woodland High School in 1961 and was a member of the Streator 1st United Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting, doing crafts, bowling, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandkids.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
