Carol J. Manypenny, 88 of Streator passed away Thursday (January 12, 2023) at Heritage Health, Streator.
Private family will be held at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carol was born December 23, 1934, in Streator to Lewis and Clara (Gautschy) Walters. She married Donald G. Manypenny on November 8, 1953. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2007.
Surviving is, son Daniel (Brenda) Manypenny of Eddyville, KY, daughter Peggy (Julie Haas) Manypenny of Streator, grandchildren, Brandy (Brooks) Swanson, Tara (Zack) Camp, Ashley (Steve) Williams and Austin Tealbey, great grandchildren Devin, Kaybrie, Noah and Landon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald and a sister Virginia Reynolds.
Carol graduated from Grand Ridge grade school and Streator High School in 1952. She retired from the LaSalle County Circuit Court and was an Avon Representative for many years. Carol was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be made in her name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
