Carol M. "Mimi" Mussatto, 86, of Marseilles, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
Memorial visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 23 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. A celebration of life will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Megan Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
Carol was born December 23, 1937, in Marseilles to Earl and Hazel (Callahan) Godwin.
She was employed by US Farm Services Agency in Ottawa until her retirement. Carol enjoyed gardening and baking, and she loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Terry (Theresa) Mussatto and Kristin (Kevin) Steep, both of Marseilles; six grandchildren, Josh (Kelly), Alyssa, and Hannah Mussatto, Brandon (Brittney) and Jordan (Courtney) Steep, and Maddie (Mike) Renner; and nine great-grandchildren, Jayden, Paige, Cooper, Harper, Emersyn, Jackson, Logan, Camryn, and Charlie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Burdett, Ernest, and Lloyd Godwin.
