Cornelius W. "Keno" Antolik, 85, of Streator formerly of Magnolia, passed away Sunday evening (September 26, 2021) at his residence.
Funeral Services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Streator, with Rev. William Callister officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 AM prior to services Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Streator Ramp Builders.
Hagi Funeral Home, Streator, is in charge of arrangements.
Cornelius was born June 6, 1936 in Streator, a son of Elmer and Rebecca (Breese) Antolik. He married Mary E. Brenner on July 8, 1956 in Cissna Park, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are their children, Duane Antolik of Magnolia, Susan Antolik of Liberty, KY, Pamela Antolik-Lester of Hennepin and Randy (Laura Tracher) Antolik of Henry; 9 grandchildren, Zachary Antolik, Aubrey (J.C.) Smith, Jordan Antolik, Jacob Antolik, Jolissa Antolik, Jasmine Antolik, Caleb Antolik, Tonia Lester and Ean Lester; 4 great grandchildren, Gracie and Alexis Troutman and Kameron and Kayden Smith; and a sister, Mary Fortson of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Viola Troubridge.
Cornelius had attended Streator High School. He had worked for the Hennepin Steel Mill and was a member of the United Steel Workers of America for 30 years.
He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a volunteer for the Streator Ramp Builders.
