Jill D. Mooneyham, 66, of Marseilles, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at her home.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will be alongside her husband, James E. Moneyham, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Arrangements and cremation rites were entrusted to Seals-Campbell Funeral Home.
Jill was born on May 7, 1959, in Ottawa, to Clifford and Judy (Armstrong) Robinson. On August 7, 1981, she married James E. Mooneyham of Marseilles, who preceded her in death on April 18, 2022.
She was a member of the Marseilles United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary and was active in her community. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and antiquing.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Tony) Krause of Marseilles; her son, Joseph (Kristi) Hicks of GA; her stepsons, James, Christopher, and Charles (Jon) Mooneyham; twelve grandchildren, Jacob and Madison Lowery, Wyatt Krause, Login Robbins, Nathan, Felicity, Abagail, and Sofia Hicks, and James, Mavrick, Christopher, and Travis Mooneyham; one great-grandchild, Bentley Lowery; her sister, Jennifer (Philip) Edgcomb of Ottawa; her brother, Christopher (Lisa) Robinson of Serena; her brother-in-law, David (Kathleen) Mooneyham of Marseilles; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; one stepson, Floyd Mooneyham; and her brother, Craig Robinson.
Memorials contributions may be made in Jill's name to the Marseilles Nursing Service or the Marseilles United Methodist Church.
