Kelly Marie Shearer, 60, of Wenona, IL passed away on Saturday, October 21st at her home. She was born on July 22nd, 1963, to Joseph and Pattie (Casper) Harasti in Streator, Il. She married Robert Shearer on July 9th of 2010 in Streator, as well.
She is survived by husband Robert Shearer, sons, Jarod Scott and Brandon Harasti and stepdaughters Tiffani and Alice Shearer. Surviving are also her mother, Pattie Lawrence and mother-in-law Betty Shearer. Sister Kimberly Harasti saffell (Ronald) and brother David Harasti. Sister in laws, Christy (Chris) Franklin and Gretchen (William) Pearsall and brother-in-law Eric (Sandi) Shearer. Stepsisters Kay (Dick) Scheuer and Kim Salz. And numerous well-loved nieces and nephews and their children and other extended family and friends, plus her dog, Bella.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Harasti and her father-in-law, William Shearer and sister-in-law Debbie Harasti and Aunt Betty Harasti.
Kelly graduated from Wilmington High School. Kelly has been employed at Vissering Construction for over 20 years. She liked spending time with her nieces and nephews and their children, camping at the river with friends, and their annual trip to the Dakotas shooting prairie dogs. She was also an avid horse lover and crafter, enjoying embroidery and sewing, often making gifts for people. She had many friends and easily made new ones wherever she went. She wasn't afraid to tell people like it was either.
Visitation will be Saturday October 28, 2203, from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, 416 Edward St., Henry. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am.
