Died: January 11, 2023 in Joliet, IL
Kevin G. Knoebber, 63, of Seneca, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care in Joliet.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday, January 15, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Father Bo Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
He was born February 10, 1959 in Rockford, IL to Jim and Velma (Renk) Knoebber.
Kevin was a member of Laborers Local 393 and worked at the nuclear power plants. He was an avid Packers fan cheering them on with his good buddy, Ron Sherwood. Kevin enjoyed woodworking and painting. He could always be found working on projects in the garage.
Kevin is survived by his life-time partner, Barb Spampanato; his family, Jeff (Jennifer) Spampanato and Jennifer Wiborg; five grandchildren, Shelby Boren, Katelynn and Chloe Wiborg, and Nathan and Anna Spampanato; one great-grandson, Colten; his siblings, Mike (Mary) Knoebber, Linda Budi, Debby (Ron) Alexander, and Craig (Vicki) Knoebber; a sister-in-law, Dawn Knoebber; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeff Knoebber.
