Leona "Lee" Majernik, 73, of Streator passed away Monday, November 10, 2025 at her residence in Streator.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 A.M. Friday, November 14th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Visitation will be from 9-11:30 A.M. Friday, November 14th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Streator. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Born February 10, 1952 in Streator she was the daughter of Thomas and Leona (Mehall) Wilkinson. She married Kenneth Majernik on November 10, 1973 at St. Stephen's Church. They were married by the late Msgr. Peter Bolerasky.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Majernik of Streator; sons, James (Megan) Majernik of Western Springs, Jeff Lee Majernik of Streator, Alex (Angela) Skinner of Normal and Matthew (Elizabeth) Majernik of Bloomington; grandsons, Jack, Adam and Gannon Majernik; and Atlas Skinner; granddaughters, Emmerson Majernik and Addison Skinner; sisters, Janice Patterson of Joliet, Mary Ann Miller of Lostant, Linda (Greg) Dzurisin of Heyworth and Brenda (William) Horaney of Bettendorf, Iowa; brothers, Thomas (Georgia) Wilkinson of Henry and Larry (Mary Jane) Wilkinson of Streator.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Sharon Wilkinson; and brothers, James, Dale and David Wilkinson.
Born and raised in Streator she attended Streator schools and graduated from Streator High School.
She was a Hairstylist by trade and owned and operated Lee's Hair Affair for many years. She was also the office manager for M & M Plumbing.
She was a member of the former St. Stephen's Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.
