Died: July 29, 2025 in Streator, IL
Mary Ellen Roudebush Longnecker, 86 of Streator passed away Tuesday morning (July 29, 2025) at the ARC of Streator.
A visitation will be held Saturday from 9 – 10:30 A.M. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 with burial following in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mary Ellen was born on October 4, 1938, in Streator to Mosey and Barbara (Clark) Yanello. She married Wayne Longnecker on October 26, 1989. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2017.
Surviving is grandson Ryan (Caylee) Roudebush of Peoria, 2 great grandchildren, Pax and Kit, great nephew Nick Yanello of Mesa, AZ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne, son William Roudebush Jr, brother Joe Yanello, nephews Joe and Lee Yanello.
Mary Ellen attended St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1956. She was employed at Kroger's for 23 years and was a Mary Kay Cosmetic Senior Sales Director for many years. Her and Wayne bowled for many years with the Streator Mixed Bowling League. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and currently St. Michael the Archangel Church.
Memorials may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church.
